With 29 chairs and 4000 students the Faculty of Civil Engineering represents traditional and innovative engineering at RWTH Aachen.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering offers many Bachelor and Master courses of study. The main language of instruction is German. However, the following study programs are offered entirely in English:

Exams

Exchange students cannot independently register online for their exams at RWTH Aachen. You must contact the International Office at the Faculty of Civil Engineering early on so that you can be registered for your selected exams.

Projects, Final Papers, and Dissertations

You can find calls for Bachelor, Master, and Diplom theses and dissertations on the Faculty of Civil Engineering's institutes' websites. You can also find offers for disserations in the RWTH job database. If you want to work on your own topic, you will need confirmation of supervision.

Advising Services in the Faculty of Civil Engineering
